Peter was the County Captain between 2002 & 2004, he was a hugely respected figure within golf and beyond, playing out of Newcastle United, The Northumberland, then Hexham.
Our thoughts are with his wife Tracey, son Jonathan, daughter Becky and the rest of the family at this very sad time.
The funeral will be on Friday 27 December at Saltwell Crematorium (NE9 6DT) at 12 noon.
Peter and son Jonathan, who had just won his Northumberland County Colours at Penrith, a proud family moment.
